1/48 thaler coin dating from the Swedish occupation of Western Pomerania. It features a countermake of Stettin on the reverse, represented by a crown (Ahlström type D). These countermarks, applied in the 1690s, were typically found on coins with a high silver content. This particular variation also bears the initials 'BA' beneath the Griffin.
