Russia (Kadashevsky mint) Rouble 1729 - Peter II (1727-1730)

28.22g. XF/AU. An especially attractive and highly collectible example, displaying superbly executed relief with an impressive degree of detail preserved in both the portrait and the reverse monograms. A delicate, pleasing patina further enriches the surfaces, adding notable warmth and character to the overall appearance. Minor traces of wear are visible, yet they do little to diminish the strong visual appeal of the piece. Seldom encountered in such a state of preservation, this specimen offers excellent eye appeal and would make a worthy addition to an advanced collection.

Type 1729 - with ribbon off order on curass. Sleeve closed.

Bitkin 112 (similar).
