The "50 Years in the CPSU" badge was a chest badge awarded to members of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. It was established on October 22, 1981, by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The badge was awarded to party members who had been in the party for 50 years or more. Along with the badge, recipients were given an official certificate confirming their right to wear it. The badge was produced at the Moscow Mint.
