Obv.: Cuirassed and draped bust of Charles XII of Sweden right, wearing long curled periwig.

(Charles XII, by the Grace of God, King of Sweden). 


Rev.: Large Swedish crowned shield bearing the Three Crowns.

These jetons were produced for official or semi-official use as gaming or counting tokens. The fine engraving and portrait style suggest they were made under the influence of Arvid Karlsteen or his pupils at the Stockholm Mint.
