This medal, engraved by Christian Wermuth, commemorates the Swedish victory at the Battle of Narva on 20 November 1700. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the young Karl XII led his forces to a dramatic and crushing triumph over the Russian army besieging Narva. The Latin inscription emphasizes the scale of the victory, portraying it as the greatest ever achieved over the Russians. This small-format silver variant is extremely rare and features a biblical edge inscription.
