Very rare!

Overstruck on a 10 Kopeks of 1796, with the traces of the original coin details visible on both sides. The overstriking was carried out at the temporary (auxiliary) Nizhny Novgorod Mint, without a mintmark beneath the eagle. This attribution is supported by the distinctive eagle type characteristic of this mint. Paul's Recoinings of the Nizhny Novgorod Mint are encountered significantly less frequently than those of the St. Petersburg, Moscow or Ekaterinburg mints.
