Very rare.

A hydrostatic weighing was performed to determine the metal's specific gravity; the result — 10.44 g/cm³ — is consistent with silver of approximately 950 fineness.

Below engraved four-line inscription:

(To A. V. Khilinsky / owner of (illegible) / Kowiesy / 1888).

This medal was awarded as an encouragement for achievements in industry, handicrafts, and applied arts during the reign of Alexander III. The engraved dedication on this specimen refers to the locality Kowiesy (Ковесы), a Polish toponym in today’s Łódź Voivodeship, then part of the Warsaw Governorate in the Russian Empire.
