Medalier: Lea Ahlborn (signature on obverse below truncation and on reverse along right edge). Manufacturer: C.G. Hallberg, Stockholm (C.G.HALLBERG with Swedish silver hallmarks, date letter F8 = 1879).

(Oscar, founder of the Swedish Sailing Society, 1832.).

Rev.: Neptune standing, holding a trident in his right hand and a laurel wreath in his left; a sailing yacht at sea to the left.

Inscription (in three lines):

FÖR UTMÄRKT FÖRTJENST / AF SVENSKA / SEGELSÄLLSKAPET

(For distinguished merit / from the Swedish Sailing Society.).

Awarded as a prize for outstanding seamanship during the regattas of the Swedish Sailing Society; the date 1832 refers to the founding of the Society.
