The All-Russian Industrial and Art Exhibition of 1882, held in Moscow, was one of the largest exhibitions in pre-revolutionary Russia. Organized under the patronage of the Imperial Technical Society, it took place in a specially constructed pavilion on the Khodynka Field.
The exhibition aimed to showcase the achievements of Russian industry, applied arts, and crafts, and to promote technological progress and commercial development across the empire. Exhibitors came from all regions, including Poland, the Baltic provinces, the Caucasus, and Siberia.
The event drew wide public attention and was accompanied by the issuance of commemorative medals and tokens, such as this example.
