Rev.: Within a continuous laurel wreath tied below with ribbon, straight five-line inscription. 


Inscription: 

ЗА | ВЗЯТIЕ | ПАРИЖА | 19 МАРТА | 1814. 

(For the Capture of Paris. 19 March 1814). 


Instituted on 30 August 1814. The medal was awarded to officers and soldiers who took part in the campaign of 1814 and remained with the active army until 19 March 1814. Distribution to the recipients was carried out from 1826 to 1832. About 150,000 medals were issued.
