Rev.: Caius and Lucius Caesars, togate, standing facing, resting hand on shields, spears between them; above, simpulum and lituus; “AVGVSTI F (COS DESIG PR)INC IVVENT / C·L·CAESARES” in exergue.

Caius Caesar and Lucius Caesar, sons of Marcus Agrippa and Julia the Elder, were adopted by Augustus as joint-heirs. This issue commemorates their appointment as designated consuls and firsts among the youth.
