Wigla Show - Estonian sketch comedy created by Ivar Vigla, aired on Eesti Televisioon in 1989–1991. Its most infamous episode, the “Finnish mark” sketch of 16 February 1991, mimicked a news bulletin announcing the withdrawal of 50- and 100-markka notes. Many viewers panicked and rushed to exchange their currency, causing real financial losses, threats, and even a bomb scare. The incident drew attention in Finland and was officially condemned as “psycho-hooliganism,” making it one of the most notorious moments in Estonian television satire.
