25.19g. AU/AU. The presented ruble is a overstrike from the ruble of Ivan Antonovich of 1741 with very good traces of the previous coin. The quality of overstrike from 1741 to 1744 was very high; Ivan's coins were placed under the die in such a way that after the strike, the portrait and the eagle fully coincided, leaving minimal traces. In the presented specimen, the previous ruble shifted, and the traces became more noticeable, especially around the edges. Bitkin 244 (similar). Rare.
