Rare.
Issued between 1828 and 1845, the platinum coins of the Russian Empire were the first of their kind globally. Minted under Emperor Nicholas I, these coins came in denominations of 3, 6, and 12 rubles. Produced at the Saint Petersburg Mint, they featured the imperial double-headed eagle and reflected Russia's wealth. Due to their limited circulation and the eventual discontinuation in 1845, these coins are now rare and highly prized by collectors.
